8 chain enterprises in Shenzhen come into China’s “Top hundred”
The List of China’s Top Hundred Chain Enterprises in 2008 issued by China Chain Store & Franchise Association yesterday shows that 8 enterprises in Shenzhen have been put on the list, according to the report.
According to the statistics, except Vanguard who is among the first five of the top hundred, the Shenzhen-based enterprises that have been among the top hundred include Wal-Mart China, A-Best Supermarket, Renrenle, Rainbow Marketplace, Park Shop and so on.
The report shows the sale scale of the chain top hundred reaches 1199.9 billion yuan, 18.4% increased comparing to the same period last year, accounting for 11.1% of the total retail amount. The stores of the top hundred enterprises totals 120775, 10.6% increased comparing to the same period last year without considering the special factors. The survey points out the competition of China’s top hundred enterprises in 2009 will be fiercer.
