Over 500 “Old people” tourist groups from Southeast Asia come to Shenzhen

With the increasing intercommunication between the Pearl delta and Southeast Asian regions, Shenzhen has welcomed more and more Southeast Asian tourists, of which old people tourist teams are a bright scenery line. According to the tatistics of Shenzhen airport, the old people tourist teams Shenzhen airport received recently are over 500.

According to the statistics, Shenzhen airport now has over 200 flights every week flying between Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, and Thailand. Except traditional business tourists, old people tourists above 50 account for one third of all the guests in the flights. They all come to Shenzhen, Hongkong etc. for sight seeing in the form of tourist group. Of all the tourists, the oldest man is 99 years old coming from Malaysia.

In the sunny spring March, the good weather and abundant human and natural resources of the south Guangdong area attract many Southeast old men to come here for spring outing and vocation. Recently, there are over 500 old people tourist teams come to Shenzhen.

Shenzhen airport specially assign policemen to provide services for the old tourists to increase the passing through rate. During the rush hour at noon and evening, the policemen are reasonably adjusted to guarantee the time of each flight.
