  I will travel to Shenzhen next week and I’m worried about not being able to inject the second dose of vaccine against Japanese encephalitis. Is possible to find in any pharmacy in Shenzhen the second dose of the vaccine IXIARO?

  Our hospital does not have the vaccine that you metioned.

  According to the knowledge of our Pharmacist, there is no more Japanese encephalitis vaccine available in Shenzhen.

  HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin), for any other purpose than weight loss will need a prescription from a doctor. The weight loss HCG, Atropin, and Serotropin can be found in specialized shops in Hong Kong. If you go to an OTC (over the counter) pharmacy in Mong Kok, they should be able to sell you a 5000iu x 2 pack, unless the rules have changed recently. The brand is usually Global Anabolics, since its a local Hong Kong manufacture. Be sure to get the mixing kit. I recommend only 1 vial, 20 day cycle, (important) 6 days a week. If your going for loosing 10+lbs, then 45 day cycle, two vials But that’s the limit. That’s why kits only have 40 syringes.

  Usually, most of the foreigners in Shenzhen go to Peking UNIVERSITY SHENZHEN HOSPITAL when they are ill. At present, no hospital exclusively for foreigners has been set up in Shenzhen.
  If related to female disease or women Pregnancy Check-up or antenatal examination, they will go to Hong Kong for treatment,
  If you need treatment in Shenzhen, I can ask my female friend for help, she can accompany you to the hospital, free for guide fee.

  The charges of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital is relevatively high comparing to other hospitals in Shenzhen. The initial checkup charge is about 10 to 50 Yuan and the examination expense of equipment such as X-RAY, CT etc. will be about 100 to 500 yuan. If you have a social security card and a medicare card, then part of those expenses can be reimbursed and the final cost that you bear will be only about 200 Yuan .

  Advertisements of Shenzhen Boai Hospital can be seen everywhere in Shenzhen. The more advertisement it make, the more expensive its cost will be. The expense of China’s private hospital is very expense.
  Peking University Shenzhen Hospital is an authoritative hospital, therefore, there will many people everyday. If you go there, you must get up early and queue up there.

  Hello:

  I realize that in the response to the previous post by Salva, you indicated that you do not believe that there is any IXIARO vaccine for Japanese Encephalitis currently available. Has that changed at all in the past few months or will it be available at any point in the future?

  Is there any other form of vaccine for JE besides Ixiaro available anywhere in Shenzhen or in Hong Kong?

  Finally, I am a bit apprehensive about traveling to Shenzhen unimmunised, but must do so anyway for work for the next 12 months. Do you believe that there is any significant risk of JE within the confines of Shenzhen including the outer districts?

  I greatly appreciate your help and knowledge.

  I am in need of insulin syringes, and cannot seem to locate them here in Shenzhen. I could easily buy them in the pharmacy in the US, but when i went to a drug store here they were not able to help me. Can you tell me if I can purchase the syringes OTC here in China?
