SEG electronics market (赛格电子市场) in Futian is the best place in Shenzhen to find every kind of hardware for your computer. It’s a very high building and the first floors house hundreds of small computer stores. At the first floor you can buy small chips and other stuff, at the higher floors you will find USB-stuff, videocards, laptops, processors, memory and everything else you need to build a PC. You can bargain here, especially if there are no prices on display.

I would strongly recommend against visiting Louhu commercial city.
It is quite overpriced – only an attraction for tourists. If you are in Shenzhen for more than about 4 hours I would recommend venturing further into SZ than this shopping mall. I have lived here for a few months and whenever I go there it takes long painful amounts of bargaining to get a price comparable to other places.
I recommend Dong Men – which is very close, or Hua qiang bei.
I noticed Kyle has a nice sales pitch for his shop posted here but I recommend you step past the border to see really how cheap REAL shenzhen is.

Shenzhen LuoHu Commercial City is a place where many fake products of world brands are available.
Dongmen Shopping Area (Dongmen Pedestrian Street) is a hodgepodge where you can buy various kinds of clothing and bags, but nearly all fake ones. If this is the first time for you to go, you’d better find a guide, otherwise you might lost in the crowd and be asked for high price.

Celebrated on May 1, Labor Day in China is a major holiday carrying comparable significance as the National Day, which occurs on October 1, and the Spring Festival on the first day of the first lunar month.
Labor Day is the biggest shopping day in China and you can barely move in Huaqian Bei Lu – the footpaths are wider than 2 car lanes and they are packed with shoppers. Good Luck!

In Fuyong area in Bao’an District in Shenzhen, There are several furniture malls deserving you visits:
1. Export surplus clothing with good quality can be found at Dongmen Pedestrian Street, a shopping street. Of course, you will find high quality products with low prices if with a local guide.
2. You can also find high quality Replica watches, handbags, pens, shoes & sun glasses at Dongmen Pedestrian Street.
3. You can find any electrical devices or computer accessories you want at Huaqiangbei commercial district, the largest electronic products market in China.

Huaqiangbei (Chinese: 华强北; pinyin: Huáqiángběi) is an area in Shenzhen. It runs from Shennan Boulevard at SEG Plaza near Huaqianglu Station on the Shenzhen Metro for one kilometer north to the Pavilion Hotel. It is the spine of a concentrated shopping and restaurant area, with cross streets Zhen Zhong Lu, Zhen Hua Lu and Zhen Xing Lu. Hua Fa Lu is immediately parallel to the east with Yan Nan Lu further away.
The area is characterized by tree-lined streets with wide (5-20 meter) footpaths. Huaqiangbei itself is lined by large buildings each specializing in commercial electronics, consumer electronics or women’s clothing. The latter range from top Hong Kong and international designer label shops to locally produced good quality clothing, shoes and bags. Fake goods are largely absent from this area, unlike the other major shopping areas of Dongmen and Luohu Commercial City
The surrounding streets are lined by clothing shops, hotels, restaurants from all provinces of China with prices ranging from 10RMB to 100RMB per person, western fast food outlets, massage parlours (only for massage), discothèques, various small stores and several international supermarkets.
SEG electronics market (赛格电子市场) in Futian is the best place in Shenzhen to find every kind of hardware for your computer. It’s a very high building and the first floors house hundreds of small computer stores. At the first floor you can buy small chips and other stuff, at the higher floors you will find USB-stuff, videocards, laptops, processors, memory and everything else you need to build a PC. You can bargain here, especially if there are no prices on display.
Around SEG there are many other shops. In fact there are two main shopping streets around SEG. On the street stretching to Shanghai hotel there are more electronics stores (selling Wii, PS3 and XBox360), but also big department stores with clothes, shoes, cosmetics, home appliances and so on.
Also on this street is the famous ‘Foreign Trade Market’ where you can buy cheap ‘brand’ clothes in big sizes. Look for some bargain XL shirts and shoes here! It is located a bit to the back of the main street, next to a KFC and Starbucks. There are also many restaurants in this area including Western restaurants like McDonalds, Pizzahut, KFC etc. Good place for shopping!
