Visa on Arrival to Shenzhen and Dongguan China from HK?
Q:
I know you get a visa to enter Shenzhen from HK for shenzhen economic zone.
I would like to know if this visa allows you to go to Dongguan town which is in Guangdong ?
Also where all does this visa allow you to visit in shenzhen and surrounding areas and for how long ?

Your question is a bit confusing. As long as you possess a visa to enter China, you can go to any cities there, including Shenzhen, Dongguan or anywhere in China.
I used to apply one for double-entry. Within 2 days I got in and out or China twice and no problem at all.
Depends on what kinds of visa you apply, there is single entry, double entry and multiple entry. The validity is between 3 to 6 months and the duration of stay is usually 30 days, counting from the first day of your arrival in China.
If you are from the US, the visa fee is 3- 4 times more expensive than those from other countries.

u can apply ur China visa via the China Travel Service. it’s run by the China government itself. even HKnese needs a special ID card to go back China but the card we r holding is 4 multi-entry & gd for 10 yrs. 4 foreigners…. they hv many types of visa but overall. yes, u can travel in between shenzhen, dongguan, guangzhou by using 1 single visa as they wil only count u ENTER to China once. anyway, once u entered to China……..u can travel thru diff cities there b4 ur visa expire of cos.

I’ve been told that for first time tourist applicant like me are not allowed to apply for a tourist visa there in shenzen.
I’m from Philippines and would like to visit my american boyfriend their in Dongguan City, Guangdong PRovince. He’s also there as a tourist.
They’ve said that for first time applicants, we need to apply in our country (Philippines) and not in shenzen. But some people insist that it’s not true. I’m confused and time is running out because I want to go there next week. The agency here in the Philippines have no idea.
I just want to know If I can apply for the first time as a tourist in China there in Shenzen.

Dongguan Railway Station serves the city of Dongguan in Guangdong province, China. It is located in Changping Town of Dongguan.
The station is configured in a northwest-southeast alignment. Trains departing to the northwest continue along the Guangshen railway towards Guangzhou. To the southeast, there is a junction where the Guangshen railway merges with the Jingjiu railway (coming from the east). The Guangshen railway continues south towards Hong Kong. The Jingjiu railway continues east though the Dongguan East station then onwards towards Beijing.
