Shenzhen: government will buy “legal services” from lawyers
Shenzhen Municipal Government decides to buy legal services from 45 law firms through out the city from this year, according to Shenzhen Municipal Justice Bureau.
It’s said Shenzhen Municipal Government started the public bidding for purchasing of legal services in March, which is the pioneering work in Shenzhen even in the whole state. According to the introduction of the Principal of Shenzhen Layers Association, the legal services that the government bought will be partly used on the government’s administration according to law.
Journalist learns that the city’s General Labor Union plans to invest 3.8 million Yuan and will confirm 7 law firms as their legal service organizations for dealing with the specified cases of labor disputes through public bidding. Shenzhen Futian district government will invest 2.8 million for the purchasing of the legal services and will set up people’s mediation office led by lawyer in 12 police stations and traffic police sub-station. In addition, it’s said that Bao’an district government will also purchase the legal services for the institutionalization of community.
According to professional persons, this purchasing mode will improve the professional level of public services.
