Best method for big family & lots of luggage from Baiyun airport to Shenzhen

Details:

We (2x adults + 2x children) want to transit by land from Baiyun airport in Guangzhou to Shenzhen city. We have lots of luggages

What is the best way (most comfortable) to do so? I hear no taxi does this route

A:

There’re direct buses from at least Guangzhou airport to Shenzhen, departing at 0730, 0815, 0900, 0945, 1030, 1115, 1200, 1245, 1330, 1415, 1500, 1545, 1630, 1715, 1800, 1845 and 1930. Get taxis to the airport after you arrive at Shenzhen.

This should be much more convenient than getting trains, or buses at Liuhua long-distance bus station.

Alternatively you could try and see if you could hire a bus for all of you.

B:

These buses don’t have numbers, you need to look for the destination name — which might be in Chinese characters only. However at Guangzhou airport I think signs would be in pinyin as well.

Not sure how long it takes, I estimate 2+ hours perhaps? Fare is 88 RMB.

Once you have bought your tickets (there is a clearly, bilingually marked ticket office just outside the baggage claim area, with all routes and prices on an electronic screen) there are dedicated waiting areas for the different bus routes. When your bus is ready for boarding, someone will come with a signboard with the destination name in both English and Chinese, call out, and lead you out to the bus. If you prefer, it is also possible to wait outside the terminal building directly at your bus boarding area – again, signs are bilingual.

There are direct buses from the airport to Shenzhen just inside the airport.

every day and it takes you about 2h to get to Shenzhen.
