Shenzhen to start direct flight to Zhanzhou
Guangdong Provincial Tourism Bureau and the Zhanzhou Municipal Government signed Frame Agreement in Guangzhou on May 16, 2009 that the two parties will further strengthen the cooperation on tourism of the two areas and tie up for constructing the projects of the Hakka cultural gallery, red delta tourism circle etc.
Mayor of Zhanzhou, Wangping disclosed that Shenzhen will open the direct flight to Zhanzhou on June 1, 2009. By then, there will be another convenient passageway for Guangdong tourists heading for the “red former capital”. Now, it only takes three hours driving from Shenzhen to Longnan and Dingnan of Zhanzhou and only 5 hours to the urban areas of Zhanzhou, which will be quite suitable for short line tourists at weekend.
