Air France Flight missing with 228 aboard including one Huawei employee
China’s Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd confirmed that one of its employee was on the plane
Huawei side yesterday confirmed that one of it employee was surely on the Air France flight missing on the Atlantic oceanic region.
Huawei headquarter said the company contacted the branch in Brazil after heard the news and confirmed that one of its employee was on the plane. Huawei now gives exclusive attention to this matter and is contacting Air France for more information.
It has caused special attention in a national famous website forum that Huawei employees are now posting and preying for their workmate.
A flight of Air France with 228 passengers aboard was missing on the way to Paris when take-off from Rio de Janeiro on local time May 31. Brazil and France sides are now carrying out the work of searching.
Missing from the Radar screen
This Airbus A330 with flight number AF 447 left Rio de Janeiro on May 31 at 7 am (6 am Beijing time) and had been expected to land at Paris’ Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport ON June 1 at 11:15 am (17:15 pm, Beijing time). 216 passengers were on the board, including seven children and one baby, as well as 12 flight crew members.
An air force spokesman said the airbus was missing at about three hundred kilometers from NATAL, Brazil’s northeast coast city near Fernando de Noronha, where is about 2400 kilometers from Rio de Janeiro.
According to the Brazilian government, the airbus disappeared from the radar screen of the ground control center of Brazil after taking off for 3 hours, that is on June 1 9:30 am, Beijing time.
Aviation analyst thought it was possible that the plane came into an emergency and fell fast that the pilot had no time to send distress signal.
Brazil Air Force spokesman said that Brazil Air Force has sent out military planes taking off from the island of Fernando de Noronha to looking for the missing airbus.
Air France spokesman said, “the company will assume a shared worry with the families of the passengers” and the company had set up information center for the families of the passengers at the International Airports de Charles de Gaulle.
French President Nicolas Sarkozy express extreme worry for this matter and had sent State Secretary and Environment Minister to Aeroport Charles de Gaulle to watch the situation.
According to an officer of Brazilian Aviation accident investigation department, if the airbus crashed, the searching work will take a long time, because the black box had sank into the ocean. An aviation expert said the airbus could not be still in the air, because the fuel it carried would not make it fly so long.
Air France said on June 1 10:14 am, the airbus sent a automatic message reporting electrical system faults 15 minutes after it flied into a stormy area and the plane was possibly stricken by the lightening.
