Transport to Guangzhou
Q: I need ferry schedules from Hong Kong to Guangzhou Please advise rates and times. Thank You.
A: Guangzhou is better reached by train. Several trains per day depart from Kowloon, roughly every two hours and they need about two hours to get to Guangzhou. Please consider also that you need a visa for the Chinese Mainland if you want to visit Guangzhou and that visa should be obtained before you start your trip.
1. the tax is charged but if you arrive in and leave from Hong Kong in the same day, you could enjoy drawback.
2. It is suggested that you take the express train from Guangzhou East Railway Station to Shenzhen. The train departs frequently every day from 08:35 to 22:40 and just takes one to two hours.
3. currently, HK Airport doesn’t have ferry to Guangzhou directly. And, the China Ferry Terminal of Hong Kong just has four scheduled ferries to Guangzhou everyday. So, personally, this method is not recommended.
For instead, both at the HK Airport and the dowtown area, there are frequent coaches to Guangzhou. Maybe you would like to have a try! By this way, you could catch a train to Shenzhen easily!

Entry From Hong Kong
Getting to Guangzhou can be a challenge, especially during the Canton Fair. Many international airline companies provide dozens of flights into Beijing, Shanghai, or Hong Kong, but they only offer fairly a few direct flights to Guangzhou.
If your flight lands in Beijing or Shanghai, your most convenient connection to Guangzhou is by air. The airports in the two cities offer hourly flights to Guangzhou.
If Hong Kong is your entry city, you can get to Guangzhou by train, flight or bus.

hi . i will like to take a ferry from hongkong airport to guangzhou this is my first time.
Welcome to mainland China. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any problems.
hi. If you want to go to Guangzhou from Hongkong airport directly, you don’t even need to take a train. There’s shuttle bus in the airport, which costs about $250 hongkong dollars, and takes you about 3 hours from the airport to Guangzhou.
the most convenenient way of going is by airplane because you dont have to lug your bags on ethe train or bus.
China southern flies a few times per day from hkg to can.
After traveling for 20 plus hours to HK the last thing you wanna do is hop on a bus for three hours plus , and wait in line for an hour in imiigration and customs lines, The airfare is about 100.00 only about $60 more than the bus or train will cost you , its worth every penney
The KCR East Railway travels between Hong Kong (Hung Hom station) and Guangzhou East. The journey time is generally under 2 hours and the train has a food and drinks service
NOTE: You will pass through immigration at both ends of the journey.
You are advised to arrive 45 minutes before the departure time, and gates close 10 minutes before departure.
Tickets can be bought at Hung Hom station in Hong Kong, and in Guangzhou East station. You can also buy tickets 14 days in advance from the KCR website.
Prices are (in Hong Kong dollars):
* $73 for children (stopping at Dong Guan)
* $95 for children (not stopping at Dong Guan)
* $145 for adults (stopping at Dong Guan)
* $190 for adults (not stopping at Dong Guan)
* $230 for premium class (only available on routes marked with *)
The best trains (and certainly most peaceful) are the ones that go straight through. Trains stopping at Dongguan tend to be less clean and more crowded.

Where does one catch the ferry at the airport and the ports in Guangzhou?
