Innovation Federation in Shenzhen University
“There’s not failure for youth, innovation makes dreams come true”. Shenzhen University Federation of Innovation was established on June 27th at Nanshan, and on the same day it held the first activity- 2009 Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovative and Creative Forum.
Most of the universities in Shenzhen are located in Nanshan. The production value of high-new technological products and number of corporations all account for 40% or above of those of the whole city, which is also the reason that Nanshan District Science Federation set up the Shenzhen University Federation of Innovation.
Director of Nanshan Science and Technology Board, Zhu Jianping thought that the Shenzhen University Federation of Innovation, after established, would build up a platform for linking the universities and enterprises and the society. The first council members of Shenzhen University Federation of Innovation include five universities and institutions such as Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University, Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, and Shenzhen University etc.
It’ said that Shenzhen University Federation of Innovation will carry out the exchange and cooperation with several Hong Kong institutions including the Inland Graduate Federation in Hong Kong, Tsinghua Alumni Association of Hong Kong etc. Shenzhen University Federation of Innovation plans to hold the first Shenzhen-Hong Kong University Students Innovative and Creative Contest.
