Shenzhen Airlines to introduce 25 Taiwanese civilian pilots
Shenzhen Airlines, the largest private airline in China, yesterday announced that the company will introduce 25 Taiwanese civilian pilots within this year.
Head of Flight Department of Shenzhen Airlines, Lv Zhihong said there had been nine Taiwanese civilian pilots joining in the interview, who are the first batch of civilian pilots selected by Flight Quality Consultant LLC (FQC) for Shenzhen Airlines after the two companies signing the Service Consignment Agreement for Taiwanese Pilots in April this year. Shenzhen Airlines plans to introduce 25 Taiwanese civilian pilots in total in this year.
Lv Zhihong said the nine pilots joining in the interview are senior captains at average age of 45, who used to be employed by Taiwan Far East Airlines (FEA) and some of them have working experience in foreign airlines and have the flying experience of Boeing 737, 757 and MD-80, 90 etc.
Lv said the Taiwanese civilian pilots have qualified comprehensive quality, high English speaking level, abundant theory knowledge and solid driving skill and are well-educated in profession.
In 2005, 8 Taiwanese civilian pilots job-hopped together to the mainland Sichuan Airlines and in 2007 another 18 pilots job-hopped to the mainland airlines of Sichuan, Xiamen, Hainan etc. Shenzhen Airlines’ this personnel stealing activity is the largest one up to date and is expected to cause a big shock in Taiwan aviation industry.
