According to the announcement of Guangdong Health Department, Shenzhen reported another 3 A/H1N1 influenza cases, of which 2 are Chinese abroad students in United States and one is Canadian patient. By now, the three patients have been quarantined in Shenzhen No.3 People’s Hospital and the state of the illness is stable.

It’s said that Shenzhen relevant department has confirmed 15 close contactors, of which 6 have been sent to Shenzhen designated insulation hospital for medical observation and no symptoms of flu have been found and other close contactors are now being traced.

According to the report, the two Chinese students in United States went to the hospital for hospitalization by themselves. These two Chinese female patients are sisters, who flied to Hong Kong from New York on May 27 and then came to the city through Huanggangkou by bus. On May 29, the elder sister began to have the symptoms of cough and snuffle and the little sister at the same night began to fever. The two patients, accompanied by the relatives, went to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for hospitalization on May 30th around 10 am.

It’s said that the Canadian female patient flied to Hong Kong from Canada on May 29 and then come to Shenzhen through Shenzhen port. The health inspection officers found that her body temperature is high and then sent her to the hospital for hospitalization by the 120 ambulance of first aid center.

Shenzhen Health Bureau organized experts to carry out consultation for the three patients and confirmed that they are the cases of A/H1N1 influenza.

By now, the three patients’ state of illness is stable. Shenzhen municipal government has paid high attention to the condition and quickly organized the departments of health, quarantine and police to strengthen the control for fully carrying out the control measures.
