Shenzhen Non-Residents’ self-guided tour to Hong Kong
Relevant authority of Shenzhen public security department visited a radio program on July 21st and released a piece of news that made the Shenzhen permanent residents without household registration excited, because the self-guided tour to Hong Kong which they had been looking forward to for a long time would be expected to be realized by the end of this year.
Residents in Shenzhen without registration could apply for self-guided tour endorsement
Deputy Director of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, Shen Shaobao, leading a team, visited a radio program on July 21st and communicated with the audience on the population and entry-exit management that they care about. A Shenzhen resident who had done business in Shenzhen for nearly ten year, surnamed Luo called and said that the place he lived had not opened the self-guided tour to Hong Kong and Macao by now, which had brought him many inconvenience. Division Chief of Entry-exit Administration of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, Wang Deming said individual business and private companies that had annual taxable amount above 50 thousand, 100 thousand and 200 thousand could transact the business endorsement to Hong Kong and Macao. In addition, Shenzhen Public Security Department was expected to open the self-guided tour business for the residents without Shenzhen household registration in the fourth quarter. By then, the people who have lived in Shenzhen for over one year but without Shenzhen household registration could transact self-guided tour to Hong Kong and Macao. Wang also hoped that this public service measure would come into practice as soon as possible.
In March this year, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Donald Tsang Yam-kuen met with the leaders of Guangdong Province and then held press conference in Beijing, releasing that the residents who were permanently living in Shenzhen were expected to be able to apply for self-guided tour endorsement. However, this “good news” was pending. The information released from the radio program yesterday again made people excited.
According to the Municipal Public Security Bureau, Shenzhen’s police have made full preparation and the business can be opened as soon as the policy comes out.
