Two workers died on Shenzhen Subway Line No.3

At 9:25am yesterday, at the construction site of Subway Line NO.3 in Luohu district Shenzhen, one worker can not be contacted when working under the 14 meters well and the workmate who went down to look for him also failed to come out. Supervisors convened all the workmates for the rescue, but the two workers had already died when being carried out. The cause of the accident was doubted to be the poison gas coming out suddenly from under the well.

The accident site had completely stopped the construction and began to accept the investigation of the departments of construction and safety supervising. According to the construction part, after the accident occurred, the ventilator for ventilation did not stop working. But why the workers died?
