Special Shenzhen visa is only for those who cross from Hong Kong into Shenzhen SEZ, and have no intention of going anywhere else in China.
Once you have China visa, you don’t need special Shenzhen visa. You can go anywhere in China with that visa, except for Tibet, where you need a special permit.
no you do not need to get the special Shenzhen visa. I have crossed into mainland into Shenzhen and all I needed was the China Visa

If you hold a Chinse visa, you are allowed to visit anywhere in China, except for Tibet, where you need a special permit. YOU don’t need to change your Xvisa to L visa, if you want to visit Shenzhen.

Hi sir,
According to the law of China, you are not allowed to change your X visa to L visa. You will be expelled from China if your student visa is expired. If you want to stay, you must continue the study and apply for the visa. You can only apply for tourist visa at your country.

I am holder of a Dutch Pasport,
Today I tried to get a chinese visa, but the consulate was too busy and after 3 hours waiting they sent me home.
Tomorrow I am flying to Hong Kong, after a few days in HK I want to travel to China as well.
Can I get my China Visa in HK?

I am flying in to Hong Kong and then plan to proceed to Shenzen for 2 Days and fly out of Shenzen to bankok after the third day.
I have a Valid Indian Passport.
I wish to understand if it is possible to get a Shenzen Visa on arrival on an Indian Passport at the station there.
Please advice.
