Longgang viaduct segment of Shenzhen No.3 Metro Line completed
On August 4, the construction of the section between Caopu Stop and Buji Stop, the last segment of Buji North Bridge, perfectly seamed, which marked that the civil work major structure of Longgang viaduct segment of the No.3 Metro in Shenzhen had been completed.
It’s reported that No.3 Metro Line covers a length of 32.895 kilometers from Hongling Stop to Shuanglong Stop, including underground lines of 8.533 kilometers, viaduct lines of 21.727 kilometers and ground lines of 2.599 kilometers including the transition segment. The viaduct segment, from Caopu Stop to Shuanglong Stop, of the No.3 Metro Line includes 16 stops and 15 stop sections. The major structure of this segment was started in July 2007 and through two years’ hard work of thousands of builders for the metro project, the first segment of this metro finally stretched as a dragon in front of people of Shenzhen.
According to the introduction, after the completion of the major structure of each stop and each section of Longgang viaduct segment of No.3 Metro Line, the construction successfully went into the working procedure of next phase. The rooms of each stop, whose steel structure roofing has been basically completed, now are on decoration project and the conventional work of equipment installation and system equipment installation are also on regular process. 43.5% of the railway construction of each section has been completed, on which the installation of the water-proof layer of bridge surface and dispersing platform has been fully carried out.
