Hong Kong, largest export destination of Shenzhen

In the first three seasons this year, the total export value of Shenzhen’s private enterprises, including collectively-owned enterprises, privately-owned enterprises and individually-owned business, has reached up to 30.15 billion dollars, up by 8.2 over the same period of last year, according to Shenzhen Customs.

Coming into the third season, the export of private enterprises in Shenzhen gradually shows the trend of growth. Since July, the link relative ratio has appeared growth for consecutive three months and the export value in September has reached up to 4.08 billion dollars with steady growth rate of 9.5% and link relative ratio of 9.3%, which is a new high in single month after August.

The statistic data of Shenzhen Custom shows, in the export modes of Shenzhen’s private enterprises this year, general trade export occupies 70% and processing trade export precedes the overall exports. It’s said, currently, Hong Kong has become the largest export destination of Shenzhen’s private enterprises. In the first three seasons, the export values that Shenzhen to Hong Kong, EU and United State are 5.66 billion dollars, 4.39 billion dollars and 27.9 billion dollars respectively, up by 8.2%, 6.2% and 4.5% respectively. The export to ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations) has picked up evidently.
