Shenzhen and Argentina establish friendly-ports relation
On October 16, led by Vice Mayor of Shenzhen Zhang Siping, Shenzhen Delegation successfully hosted the International Promotion Conference for Shenzhen Ports at Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina, which is the second stop of the “The trip of carving out” in South America. On the conference, Shenzhen Port and Buenos Aires signed agreement agreeing to establish friend port relation.
Buenos Aires Port of Argentina is the fourth friendly ports that Shenzhen established following the Port of Rotterdam in Holland, Hamburger Harbor in Germany and Las Palmas Port in Spain. According to the friend agreement, Shenzhen Port and Buenos Aires Port will adhere to the principal of equity and mutual benefits and carry out communication and cooperation on a multiple-layer, multiple-channel and multiple-form bases as per the idea of commerce and trade circulation and information communication, driving and promoting the economy and culture exchange and cooperation and realizing complementary advantages and win-win.
According to the introduction of the Harbor Master Louis, Buenos Aires Port is now building No.6 Wharf an expects that this brand new wharf could be the best bridge for the cooperation between Shenzhen Port and Buenos Aires Port.
