85 Shenzhen recruits to serve in Tibet

Yesterday, a farewell party was held at the assembly hall of Shenzhen Garrison Command yesterday for the 85 Shenzhen hot-blooded youths who will be the fourth batch of recruits entering Tibet since the establishment of Shenzhen.

According to the introduction of relevant person, the selection standard of the recruits to enter in Tibet is high culture quality and good physical quality. To avoid altitude sickness in Tibet, the examination for internal medicine is quite strict, especially for the function of hearts. It’s reported that nearly 90% of the recruits have college education.

On the eve of leaving for Tibet, every new recruit got a “card of love” that is granted by Shenzhen Shuangyong Fund, which make promise to the recruits and those who are serving at the national defense battle that the Fund will make its full efforts to take care of the military families and help them solve the actual difficulties.

According to the introduction, the Fund has received nearly 3 million Yuan donations from Shenzhen corporations, 70% of which will be used as the special fund for the families of the army men and martyrs.

At the same time, Shenzhen University formulated relevant favorable policies that the students back from the Army could be allowed to choose the majors as per their own interests and the school would not only remit the tuition fees, but also give the students living allowance.
