BenQ’s Laptop and Monitor Won “Innovative Product Award”

“The No.1China Science and Technology Fair” — 2009 China Hi-Tech Fair is going to open in Shenzhen soon. Taking “Innovative china, Innovative Product” as the aim, the Innovative Product Selection Activity of Hi-Tech Fair was held as scheduled, which has drawn a perfect period recently. About 60 innovative products were selected to meet the 60th anniversary of the New China.

Among the 60 innovative products, BenQ, as a leader of 3G industry, got two new products Laptop PC U121 and LED Monitor V2400 Eco being awarded “Innovative Product Award,” which is not only the best affirmation to BenQ for its effort on leading 3G industry, but also the best recognition to its perseverance on the green concept.

China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) is the largest and most influential exhibition on science and technology in China, which is reputed as the No.1 Chinese exhibition in this industry. The innovative products in the selection activity is mainly related to ten categories such as digital audio-visual products, computers and peripherals, digital images, etc.

BenQ Laptop PC U121 is endorsed unanimously by the jury committee on its long standby for eight hours. This laptop PC is thin and light, with only 11.6 inches, 1.25 kg,  which can be used for 6 hours after 1 hour quick charge. In performance, it is secured by new movable platform based on Intel Atom Z530; introduces LED backlit screen of 16:9 high resolution; and is in favor of large-capacity HDD/SSD hybrid storage as well. With all the charateristics of fashion, portability and outstanding performance, it is absolutely deserved “Innovative Product Award.”

In addition, BenQ LED Monitor V2400 Eco was a twinkling star in this Hi-Tech Fair as well, which is endorsed unanimously by the jury committee on its style, technology and hardware parameters. It uses LED backlight and LCD panels characteristic of energy-saving, high efficiency, long life and wonderful color. Besides, it becomes mercury-free, pollution-free, thinner and lighter. In style, V2400 Eco breaks tradition and adopts asymmetrical design. As the “emperor of green machine,” BenQ V2400 Eco has passed the environmental certification and China Environmental Labeling Product Certification such asa CO 5.0, Energy Star 4.1, EPEAT Gold, etc.
