As the strategic highland of a new round international competition, the new energy industry is conceiving a new economic growth point. The 11th Hi-tech Fair, closely integrated with national policies of promoting the development of strategic new industries, has set up the “New Energy and Energy-saving Environmental Protection” professional zone for the first time, which focuses on new products, technologies and services including renewable energy, industrial energy conservation, building energy conservation, transport energy conservation, and environmental protection, etc. Dozens of domestic and international enterprises such as Suntech Power, BYD, Southern Power Grid, etc. will participate in it.

The “New Energy and Energy-saving Environmental Protection Exhibition” has an area of 1,100 square meters, with 26 domestic and international enterprises participating in.  Although the exhibition area is small, the participating enterprises have been proven to be influential, whose products represent the industry’s advanced level as well.

In Solar energy, there are solar photovoltaic systems and related applications exhibited by Shenzhen Suntech Power Co., Ltd. It is understood that polysilicon component, produced by Suntech Power on the application of Pluto technology, has the world’s highest conversion efficiency which has created several new world records and recently increased to 16.53% (only counted by the battery light area).

In new energy vehicles, there are F3, F6, F0, F3R, F3DM, G3, S8, e6 electric vehicles and pure electric vehicles shown by BYD. By then, BYD F0, regarded as fuel-efficient evaluation champion of CAAM (China Association of Automobile Manufacturers) 1.0L model and one of the Borg Warner Cup “China Heart” top ten engines, will carry BYD371QA aluminum high-performance environmentally friendly engine and BYD S8 the first hard convertible top sports car in China to the Fair, which will be the focus of attention, both of whom totally demonstrate BYD’s strong R & D capabilities.

In electricity, the China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. will present the Shenzhen Pumped Storage Station Project which will make a significant contribution to the local ecology. It has been included in the “11•5” power development plan of Guangdong Province and China Southern Power Grid, and also is a major project of Shenzhen “11•5″ plan.

With increasing development of economy and society, urban processes and industrialization process, energy and environmental issues grow increasingly serious. The environmental pollution is getting worse, and the state has paid more and more attention to the development of new energy, while energy-saving environmental protection draw more and more concerns, so it has become a global consensus to develop renewable energy and promote energy-saving environmental protection. Setting up new energy and energy-saving environmental protection exhibition in Hi-Tech Fair will further promote the development of relevant industries in China. At the same time, the new energy and energy-saving environmental protection exhibition of Hi-Tech Fair will gradually get stronger and become a banner to lead the industry.
