Hong Kong Passport Holders Enter Guam with Visa Free
Hong Kong Immigration Department claimed on 30th Oct. that, from 28th Nov. this year on, passport holders of HKSAR could enter Guam without visa and stop over for 45 days, but they had to show valid Hong Kong Permanent ID as they enter Guam.
U.S Consulate General in Hong Kong had notified the Immigration Department of those decisions and arrangements earlier.
The spokesman of HKSAR expressed that the decisions of the U.S. Government were welcome, for it would bring more convenience for passport holders of HKSAR to travel in Guam, and enhance relations between Hong Kong and Guam in trade, business and tourism as well.
The number of countries and regions, which permit passport holders of HKSAR to enter their countries with visa free or landing visa, has risen to 140 till now.
