Six Hi-Tech Projects of SIDC Will Debut in China Hi-Tech Fair
“Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Circle” is one of the new attempts and important practices of comprehensive cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, which is also a new carrier of trial implementation zone in a new period. Since 2006, Shenzhen Local Government has appropriated special fund from the allocation of R & D funds to support the “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Circle” construction each year, and constantly improve the Shenzhen-Hong Kong technology cooperation mechanism to promote rational flow of innovation.
Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control (SIDC) has always participated actively in the “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Circle” construction. On September 28th, 2007, Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control and Chinese Medicine R & D Center of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology jointly organized “Hong Kong-Shenzhen Drug R & D Testing Center,” which successfully applied for two “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Circle” subjects in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control, combined with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, applied for another two “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Circle” subjects. These research projects take use of high-tech means to effectively ensure people’s drug safety and purify markets of healthcare products, cosmetics and so on.
The 11th China Hi-tech Fair will be held in Shenzhen from November 16th to 21st, and Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control will appear in CHTF, carrying “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Circle” and six high-tech subjects that cooperate with international institutes.
The six projects are as follows:
