Tunnel Project in Linghong of Shenzhen Metro No.5 Line Completed
Following the completion of the right line of Linghong Section of Shenzhen Metro No.5 Line on September 30, the left line of Linghong Section was completed on the morning of October 27, which indicated that the underground tunnel at Linghong Section had been completely joined up.
Constructed by China Railway Seventh Group, the underground tunnel in Linghong section of Shenzhen Metro No.5 Line is 685.131 meters in full length and the right line is 647.5 meters in full length.
Due to the abundant underground water and geology of completely weathered granite, the earth at Linghong section will swelling and become a pile of mud, which has brought many difficulties for the construction.
