Five roads of Shenzhen public works to be completed next year
As one of the main channel system for passenger distribution during the Universiade events, the Universiade Center supporting public works has been strongly promoted and five roads of the public works will be all completed by 2010. When the time comes, it will be more convenient for the citizens to get in and out of the Universiade Center, according to the Municipal Public Works Bureau of Shenzhen.
It’s said that the Universiade Center supporting public works locates in the region of Longgang Sports New City, adjacent to the Universiade Center, including Universiade Road, Guling Road, Longxing Road, Ruyi Road and Qinghui Road, totaling 9.59 kilometers with total investment of 574 million Yuan. The project undertakes the function of distributing large volume of passengers during the event, which is critical to guarantee the successful holding of the Universiade and significant to promote the development and construction of the region of Longgang Sports New City, and to perfect the road network structure and public facilities.
