Haichaijiao is quite precipitous and imposing. At the cape, a vast tract of exposed rocks spreads out in the wind, some of which look like broken withered trees, some like strange animals with sharp teeth, some like fresh cheese, while others look like abstract painters after they are worn away by sea water.

It is believed that the cape is alike to Cape of Good Hope in Africa not only because of their similar geographical positions, but also because people will climb a mountain and go forward to a lighthouse along a path, even the wind reeks of briny and fishy smell, the sea melted into the sky, and mist wreathes the capes.
