Nan’ao, located in the southernmost part of Dapeng Crescent, is east to Daya Bay, west to the Pacific Ocean, south to Dapeng Bay, and facing to Hong Kong Pingzhou Island with less one thousand kilometers apart. This place is nice, and the sea washes the shore all the day. Citizens in Nan’ao mainly live on fishing. As evening comes, there are scenes of singing songs on the beach. On New Year’s Day or other festivals, you can see various folkways such as the fishing lantern fair and the wedding on the water. It boasts most famous seafood in Shenzhen. Visitors can have abalone, urchin and other seafood in restaurants on the streets of Nan’ao. After that, you also can rent a yacht to visit islands nearby.
There is a large sea area and many landscapes in Nan’ao, so you can make choice according to your tourism purposes:
1. If you like outdoor sports, it is the best choice to go through Dongchong Beach and Xichong Beach. Scenes along the coastline are quite nice.
2. Xiasha Tourism Region, a popular beach holiday destination, has a high-quality beach stretching 3 kilometers, and a unique landscape.
3. Jidiaosha Beach Sports Recreational Area includes windsurfing, skateboarding, jet skiing, cycling, camping, beach pleasure and other sports.
4. Shuitou Seafood Street is a famous place for seafood in Shenzhen, on one side of which there are seafood restaurants, and the other side is an aquatic products market. You can buy fresh seafood in the market, and then take them to restaurants to cook.
