Shenzhen to promote application of solar energy

According to relevant information, in order to invigorate the new energy industry, Shenzhen this year will increase polices and measures to enhance the allowance standard and range, promoting the application of the solar energy industry and driving the low-carbon economy into people’s daily life.

As per the Revitalization Plan for New Energy Industry that has been put forward, Shenzhen government will subsidize 500 million Yuan for the new energy industry with supporting measures of interest discount, allowance, reward and special funds etc.

According to relevant information, the national solar energy industry now is in the process of transformation and upgrading and the flat panel solar energy will become the mainstream. Facing this trend, Shenzhen will actively support the development of the plat panel solar energy industry, specially will increase the subsidies.

The statistics shows that China’s solar energy water heater industry is growing at a rate of 20-30% every year with annual sale volume of 45 billion Yuan, of which the plat panel solar energy market share rises to about 30 percent.
