ZTE makes equipment donations to a Polish university
China ZTE-Corporation (“ZTE”), a world leading provider of telecommunication equipments and network solutions, announced that the Company, together Poland Mobile Phone Corporation, donated mobile communication equipments to Warsaw University of Technology, Poland on January 27. Commercial Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Poland, Ma Changlin, and General Manager of ZTE’s subsidiary in Poland, Wang Qiang took part in the donation ceremony.
Wang Qiang addressed on the ceremony that China and Poland have formed favorable cooperation relationship and fast developing commercial intercourse, which have provided a solid base for the two telecommunication corporations to carry out cooperation. He said the two parties could achieve complementary advantages by further enlarging the cooperation range, deepening the cooperation strength and fully exerting the advantages of each other on technology, service application, resources, and human resource.
Poland Mobile Phone Corporation, having about 11 million subscribers, is one of the three large mobile operators in Poland’s mobile communication field and also one of the largest telecommunication corporations in Eastern Europe. The mobile communication equipments jointly donated by ZTE Corporation and Poland Mobile Phone Corporation for the laboratory of the University represent the leading level of the future home multi-media solutions in the communication equipment research field, making the students of Polish universities experience the high-speed bandwidth technology of home multi-media from China with zero distance.
