Fireworks prohibited in Shenzhen
In order to guarantee the safety of lives and properties of people and create a stable and peaceful festival atmosphere, relevant department of Shenzhen yesterday announced joint action will be adopted during the Spring Festival this year to strictly investigate and crack down the actions of illegally producing, selling, storing, transporting and setting off fireworks and firecrackers.
Jointly announced by the Municipal Safety Administration Office, the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Municipal Transportation Commission and the Municipal Science, Industry, Trade and Information Commission, the Announcement says any units and individuals are prohibited to set off fireworks and firecrackers during the Spring Festival without approval of the Municipal Government. People who violate the regulation will be fined with 1000 to 5000 Yuan and their fireworks will be confiscated.
In addition, any units and individuals are forbidden to produce, store and sell the fireworks and fire crackers within Shenzhen. Citizens are encouraged to report those illegal actions.
