Dongjiang Column Memorial, built in May 2005, has a total area of 5000 m2 with a construction area of 1500 m2. It comprises the hall, the exhibition hall, the hall of historical relics and the monument of martyrs’ names. Divided into 13 parts, the exhibition hall aptly displays the historical sites where Dongjiang Column, Guangdong-Guangxi Column, Guangdong-Jiangxi-Hunan Border Region Column had ever taken place, so as to foster the patriotism of the Chinese nation and educate young people about revolutionary tradition.
