Position title: Events & Exhibitions Executive (part time)

Background
Visit Shenzhen is the non-official visitor organisation for Shenzhen. Our aim is to promote Shenzhen as the world’s most exciting city by marketing to domestic and overseas leisure and business visitors, as well as Shenzheners themselves.
Budget Responsibilities
Assist Events and Exhibitions Manager with budget activities
Purpose of Role
Support the Events and Exhibitions Manager in the management and delivery of all events and exhibitions.
Responsibilibies
- Provide event support
- Manage and deliver events and exhibitions as per Events and Exhibition Manager’s instruction
- Deliver events and exhibitions to budget agreed with the Events and Exhibition Manager
- Organise all areas of exhibiting as instructed; from stand space to build, partner bookings, pre-show and onsite activity
- Help manage and build effective relationships with external suppliers and research suitability of current and new suppliers
- Help ensure effective communication and briefing of all internal teams, pre, post and onsite at each event
- Assist with external communication with our partners and stakeholders
- Work with the financial team to ensure all process and procedures are adhered to including purchase orders and invoicing
- Attend venue site visits with Event Solutions team on a regular basis to ensure breadth of knowledge on China venues
- Assist in all event administrative tasks
- Liaise with Business/Leisure Marketing Team to ensure that pre-show marketing activity is maximised via the Events and Exhibitions team
- Undertake other reasonable duties as allocated by the line manager
