PwC partners with Shenzhen Universiade
The Executive Bureau of Shenzhen Universiade, jointly with PricewaterhouseCoopers Consultants (Shenzhen) Limited (“PwC”), held a press conference on the morning of March 19, announcing that PricewaterhouseCoopers has became the exclusive accounting service supplier for the 26th Summer Universiade, Shenzhen. Vice Secretary General of the Executive Bureau of the Universiade and Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Federation of University Sport of China, Yang Liguo, Vice Director of the Executive Bureau of the Universiade, Zhao Guanghua, Consultant of the Executive Bureau, Li Nansheng, Managing Partner of PwC China, Lin Yizhong and Managing Partner of PwC Shenzhen, Zhang Zhanhao took part in the signing ceremony.
Yang Liguo addressed on the signing ceremony that 2010 is a crucial year for the preparation work of the Universiade and it’s the time we put all the planning into implementation. The holding of the Universiade is significant to the future development of Shenzhen’s economical society and a series of strategic goals. However, due to the complication of the preparation work, it will be a great challenge for Shenzhen. As a global well known professional service organ, PwC’s joining in will effectively promote the preparation work on a more economic and coordinated way.
As the exclusive accounting service supplier, PwC will provide financial planning services, financial advisory services in the areas of budgeting, tax services and other related professional services.
