The International Media Center of the Universiade Completed
On the afternoon of March 5, Shenzhen Municipal Construction Work Bureau and Shenzhen Media Group held the Project Handover Ceremony at the International Radio and Television Center of the 2011 Summer Universiade that was formally completed. Vice Chairman of the Executive Office of the Universiade and Executive Vice Chairman of the Federation of University Students of China (hereafter shorted as “FUSC”) , Yang Liguo, Standing Member of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen, Lv Ruifeng, Vice Chairman of the Executive Office and Director of the Executive Bureau of the Universiade, Liang Daoxing and General Editor of Shenzhen Press Group, Xuan Zhuxi were present on the Handover Ceremony, on which, General Director of Shenzhen Construction Work Bureau, Jiang Jianjun handed over the “Golden Key” that signifies the completion of the project to Wang Maolinag, President of Shenzhen Media Group.
The International Main Media Center (Shorted as “MMC”) of the 2011 Summer Universiade with total construction area of 16000 square kilometers, one of the important supporting projects of the 26th Summer Universiade, locates at the northwest of the Olympic Center in Longgang District.
MMC project, consisted of International Broadcasting Center (IBC), Main Press Center (MPC), Information Center for the Universiade, the Command Center for the Universiade Center and the Administration Office of Shenzhen Universiade Center, will provide several services for the Medias interviewing the Universiade, including providing public print media workshop, image center and photo media workshop, separate space for news media as well as supporting terminal service for news information, technical support service and establishment, operation and language service of the press conference hall.
