The CTTA Wireless 2010, with 25 years’ histories in the United State, will be opened at Las Vegas on March 23, on which ZTE Communication, a leading provider of telecommunication equipments and network solutions will launch its world first DCMA/LTE Dual-Model Remote Radio Unit that support 700 MHz and Advanced Wireless Service spectrum band.

R8880 can support CDMA2000, EV-DO and LTE simultaneously, truly realizing the moves towards the convergence of DCMA and LTE network. R8880 also support the advanced technologies of Two Transmit Two Receive (2T2R) of CDMA and Multiple Input Multiple Output of LTE. What’s most important is that the R8880 products, based on the largely commercialized Soft Defined Radio (SDR) Platform, could accelerate the network deployment and reduce significantly the network construction cost.

Manager General of CDMA Product of ZTE, Li Jian said, “When walking towards 4G, the CDMA operators of North American mostly choose CDMA and LTE dual-model product and the AWS and 700MHz are both extensively used spectrum resources on North American market. ZTE Communication’s AWS/700 MHz dual-model R8880 is part of ZTE’s advanced UniRAN solutions, very close to the need of 3G/4G network in North America. We really hope the mainstream DCMA operators in North America could put their eyes on our industrial advanced and low cost UniRAN Solution.”
