ZTE, whose market share of 3G networks ranking first in China, just closed its report announcement of financial year of 2009. Benefiting from the explosive growth of the domestic 3G market, the market increase rate of ZTE in 2009 exceeds 70%. Adding to the fast development of the European market, the increase rate of revenue of ZTE in 2009 has reached 36.8% with total revenue exceeding 60 billion Yuan, which is the highest in this industry.

According to the latest analysis for the domestic 3G market, ZTE may obtain flying development again in 2010. According to the report from Isuppli Corporation, China’s 3G end-use market volume in 2010 will be increased to 4600 units including mobile phones, data cards etc., which is four times of that of 2009.

The report also said, Chinese operators plan to provide 50 billion Yuan allowance for promoting the development of 3G mobile phone market in 2010, of which, China Mobile is expected to increase its allowance to 30 billion Yuan in 2010 from the 12 billion Yuan in 2009. In 2009, ZTE has become the largest mobile phone supplier for China Mobile.

Analysts believe ZTE’s advantages established in the bidding of 3G network equipments will make ZTEs’s performance in the end-use market as free as fish in water. Currently, besides the leading position in China’s network equipments, ZTE has already displaced Motorola at the terminals, becoming the fifth largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world.
