How to get from Hong Kong airport to Lanson Place Hotel in Causeway Bay

Question

Never been to Hong Kong before, we’re thinking of taking the MTR to the hotel (if possible) so specific directions/instructions would be very helpful.

And please don’t respond with “take a cab”.

When you arrive at the airport, buy an Octopus card that can be used for all major types of public transport and some retail stores. Get one specially for tourists called the Airport Express Travel Pass that lets you ride the express train plus 3 days of unlimited MTR train rides. MTR (Mass Transit Railway) includes the underground and all train services. When you leave Hong Kong, just return the card and get the HK$50 deposit back. To go to Causeway Bay catch the Airport Express to the last terminal Central, cross over to the Hong Kong Island (blue) line and get off at the 3rd stop Causeway Bay. Look for the exit for Times Square to go to Leighton Road. See the MTR map for details:

Located near Victoria Park, the hotel is only three minutes walk from Causeway Bay MTR Station. 10 minutes away from Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. The distance from Hong Kong International Airport to Lanson Place Hotel is approximately 43km. The hotel is located right in the heart of city centre.

The hotel is a five-minute taxi ride from the Hong Kong Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre, and just 45 minutes from the Hong Kong International Airport.
