How to get to Lijiang from Shenzhen，by air or by train?
Q: How to get to Lijiang from Shenzhen? Is taking plane more convenient than taking train?
A: The straight-line distance from Shenzhen to Lijiang is about 1,500 km. There are two by-stops flights and one non-stop flight from Shenzhen to Lijiang. The non-stop flight takes off at 8:20 am and arrives at Lijiang Airport at 10:45 am. There is no direct train from Shenzhen to Lijiang, and it takes three transfers from Shenzhen to Lijiang: taking train to Guangzhou and transferring to Kunming and then to Lijiang. The bus from Shenzhen to Lijiang can transfer in Kunming.

There are 3 flights from Hong Kong to Kunming daily. From Kunming, you take a connecting flight to Lijiang.
