I will be going from hong kong to shenzhen for shopping.  I have been told not to shop at LoWu but to go to Dongmen Street.  Please tell me how to get there from the railway station at the hongkong/china border.  thank you

You can take the Shenzhen metro again, Dongmen (Laojie station) is 2 stations away from Luoho, ticket cost is RMB2.

Dongmen is where the locals shop. It is just a regular town centre with lots of small shops and malls. The prices are a lot cheaper but the styles and sizes may not suit the Ozzie figure and less English is spoken.
