Shenzhen Universiade marks 500-day countdown
March 30 was the 500-day countdown of the 26th Summer Universiade. The activity for the publication of the theme propaganda film “Participating in the Universiade, creating a better Longgang” and the happy sports carnival” sponsored by Longgang District Government and undertaken by Longgang district Civilization Office for the 500-day countdown of the Universiade was held at the square of Longgang Sports Center on the morning of March 30.
Vice Chairman of the Executive Commission and Director of the Executive Bureau of the Universiade, Liang Daoxing, Executive Vice Chairman of FUSC and Vice Chairman of the Executive Commission of the Universiade, Yang Liguo and other relative persons jointly participated in this activity.
Head of Longgang district, Zhang Bei confirmed the preparation work for the Universiade in his address and emphasized the opportunities and challenges brought to Longgang district by the holding of the Universiade. He also encourages the citizens working on each field to continue their effort for the coming of the Universiade.
The theme propaganda film of “Participating in the Universiade, Creating a better Longgang” planned and screened by the Executive Office of the Universiade in Longgang district for the first met the audience on the ceremony. The propaganda film fully exhibits the unique history, humanity and the modern urban life of Longgang district as well as Longgang people’s passion of caring, participation and support for the Universiade with only three minutes.
