Visa run from Shenzhen China to Hong Kong

Resolved Question

Visa run from Shenzhen China to Hong Kong?

I have to do a Visa run this coming Tuesday to hong Kong from the border point at Shenzhen outside the train station (Lo Wu).
I was wondering as money is super tight and im on a budget is it possible to cross into the HK side, get stamped and turn straight around and head straight back into China?

China visa is not an issue as i have a multi entrance but i realy cant afford to mess about heading into HK and back again

thanks

Additional Details

My Chinese Visa is not the problem, nor is a HK visa as im a British passport holder.

I only need to know if it is ok just to turn around once passed through customs checkpoint on the HK side and be able to walk straight back into China, Or is there some stupid regs or law about staying in HK a minimum amount of time i.e 1 day or x amount of hours etc……

Thanks

I cross at Lowu/Luohu at least once a week.

You pass the CN passport check
You cross the bridge
You pass the HK passport check
Now try to walk down the staircase next to the ticket machines (it said ‘lowu residents only’ or something like that. Try it anyway! Worst case they send you back)
Then just go back to HK passport check and back to CN….

If you get send back then you have to buy a ticket for the MTR (Sheung Shui is nearest, HK$20), go to Sheungshui and go straight back.

If you are on a tight budget then just use the Huanggang crossing. You may even manage not to go to HK at all.

The purpose of your question is unclear. Is your visa about to expire or is your current stay expiring?

If your visa is about to expire, then you need to apply for a new visa at the Chinese consulate in HK. If your stay is about to expire, but you still have a valid multi-entry visa, then you only need to cross the border into HK and then cross back.

>>> There is no “minimum stay” in HK. You can turn right around, no problem. Lots of people make short-stay round-trips every day.

Simple. I do it once every 2 months. Guangzhou to Shenzhen. Cross to HK. Take Metro one exit. (20 HK $) Take metro Back to Lo Wu ( another 20 HK $) Cross back to China. Get train back to Guangzhou. Done
