Chinese folk concert,Shenzhen Concert Hall
A charity folk rock concert featuring some of China’s best-known singers will be held July 24.
The concert is being jointly organized by China’s top literature Web site, Rongshuxia.com, and 13-month Record, and all proceeds will go to helping children affected by the Yushu earthquake in Qinghai Province.
More than 10 mainland folk rock singers, including Ye Pei, Lao Lang and Zhang Weiwei, have contributed original songs to the concert.
The same lineup has already performed at packed venues in Beijing, Qingdao in Shandong Province and Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province.
After a short rest in June, the team will resume their tour in July and play Nanjing in Jiangsu Province, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
