Decoration for Shenzhen Metro Line 2 Started
Yesterday morning, the installation and decoration project of the eastern section of
Line 2 was started at a cost of 60 million Yuan, which laid a solid foundation for the operation of this section in June next year.
The eastern section project of Metro Line 2, one of the most important lines in Shenzhen’s urban railway and road network, starts from the Window of the World in the west and ends at Xinxiu Village, connecting the eastern part and the western part of the Special Economic Zone.
Reportedly, the installation and decoration project of the metro mainly includes the installation project relating to wind, water and power, the window and gate project, the installation project of guiding marks and advertising light boxes and debugging etc., after which, the trial operation of the metro could be carried out.
The project started yesterday covers totaling three stations and four sections, including the section between the Window of the World, Qiaochengbei Station, the section between Qiaochengbei Station and Shenkang Station, Shenzhen Station, the section between Shenkang Station and Antuoshan Station, Antuoshan Station and the section between Antuoshan Station and Qiaoxiang Station.
