Let Shenzhen “Tell the World”

On August 12, the 1st anniversary of the countdown of Shenzhen 2011 Universiade, the Executive Bureau of Shenzhen Universiade will hold a ceremony with the theme of “Tell the World” to celebrate it, on which the medals and the torch of the Universiade will be released.
The 1st anniversary ceremony of the countdown with theme of “Tell the World” will be held at Shenzhen Stadium between 19∶40 and 21∶00 on August 12, when approach 30,000 people from all social circles, including major leaders of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, embassy officials of different countries, members of the Executive Committee, culture celebrities, student representatives of high schools in Shenzhen, representatives of citizens and sponsor representatives etc. will participate in the ceremony, according to the Executive Bureau of the Universiade yesterday. Themed with “Tell the World”, the ceremony, through combining the creative ceremony and high level artistic performance, will express the citizens’ passion and resolution to host the best Universiade in Shenzhen and send invitations of the 2011 to the world by the municipal leaders in a novel way.
The medals and torch of the Universiade will also be released on the ceremony. It’s said the design plan of the medals of the Universiade is the “Heart of the Ocean”, which is inspired by the construction structure and the crystal feeling of the main stadium of this Universiade.
