I plan to travel to Macao and Shenzhen around 3/4-3/7. I have a 9am flight to catch at HKIA. What is the best way to get to HKIA from each city. So far, I have only found ferry service starting at 7am. I do not believe that allows me sufficient time to pass customs and make my 9am flight.

From HKIA To By taxi or A21 bus.
Guangdong Through Train (MTR)
The Guangdong Through Train is an inter-city railway service operated jointly by the MTR Corporation of Hong Kong and the Ministry of Railways of the People’s Republic of China. Services operate along the East Rail Line within Hong Kong territory, crossing the Hong Kong-China border at Lo Wu, and continuing along the Guangshen Railway in Guangdong province.
Twelve trains run in each direction every day, with a journey time of 1 hour 40 minutes.
The MTRC operates the KTT service on this route. The KTT service is provided by double decker trains, usually comprising two Premium Class carriages and five First Class carriages. A mainland operator provides the other trains on this route.
Places served by the MTRC Guangdong Through Train include:
Hong Kong
Dongguan (some trains)
Guangzhou
Foshan (once daily)
Zhaoqing (once daily)
Hung Hom Station, formerly known as Kowloon Station (九龍車站) is a station on the East Rail Line and West Rail Line in Hong Kong. It is located in Yau Tsim Mong District, Kowloon, next to the Cross Harbour Tunnel. Hung Hom Station is one of the three Hong Kong ports-of-entry on the MTR network, along with Lo Wu Station and Lok Ma Chau Station.
Although the station is named as Hung Hom, it is quite far from Hung Hom District which is at least 15 minutes away on foot.
It should be noticed that its fare is quite different from nearby stations. At least $1 more is charged for passengers coming from Hong Kong Island, and around $3 for passengers coming from Tung Chung or Disneyland Resort.
