60 Large Projects Started in Shenzhen

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, 60 large projects with total investments of hundreds of billions locating within the five large areas of Shenzhen are started collectively in Shekou, following the starting command of Wang Rong, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Municipal Party Committee.

The 60 large projects involve the fields of industrial development, independent innovation, urban updating, infrastructure, social and livelihood, etc. with total investment of 105.3 billion Yuan, of which 18.7 billion are expected to be completed this year. In addition, there is also a batch of large projects with total investment of over 220 billion Yuan expected to be started in the end of the year.

Also, at the Sea World, the landmark place of Shenzhen SEZ, the projects of Prince Bay Liner Port, Shekou Internet Valley and Sea World integration will be jointly started, which is the start of the grand new strategic cooperation between China Merchants and Shenzhen.

After completion, the Prince Bay Liner Port project, with total investment of nearly a hundred billion will, form 17 berths including the large international liner berth with a capacity of 150,000 tons and a 1.5km coast line of passenger transportation.
