ZTE Wins 400M Yuan Contract From Indian BSNL
Industry Site C114 has quoted local media’s report on Sept 7th that Indian government-owned BSNL has chosen ZTE as its WiMAX supplier, which brought ZTE a 300 million (43.6million RMB)contract.
It’s said that, ZTE is going to supply range of WiMax systems including WiMax base-stations, switches and specialised WiMax terminals. That would speed BSNL’s rollout in the coming six months.
Earlier, ZTE Corporation received approval from India’s government to be the provider for BSNL. It became the first Chinese company to pass India’s new policy on equipment imports.
