Universiade to Hold Youth Festival
To welcome the 26th Summer Universiade in Shenzhen and the EU-China Year of Youth, the Youth Festival of the World Universiade and the EU-China Youth Forum will be held during the period of the Universiade, according to relevant person from the work coordination group office of the Universiade volunteers on May 1.
It’s said that three topic activities will be carried out by the Universiade Youth Festival during the holding of the Universiade. One is to hold “Bridges of Friendship” world university students sand festival, which will invite outstanding high-school artistic groups from the five continents in the world and Chinese well-known high-school music community and bands or signers to take part in. The second is to hold EU-China Youth Forum. The third is to carry out the rich and colorful visiting and exchanging activities focusing on the Chinese traditional culture, Shenzhen’s city humanities and histories, and volunteering cultures etc.
By then, thousands of youth from the all round of the world will participate in the festival activities.
