11000 Indemnificatory Apartments to be completed next September

Shenzhen’s largest indemnificatory apartment project, Longyue Community was topped on October 23, which after completed, will provide about 11000 indemnificatory apartments for people.

Longyue Community indemnificatory housing project is one of the ten large projects concerning people’s livelihood that were started in Shenzhen in 2009. As the major project in 2011, it is the first indemnificatory residence community that is constructed as per green construction standard and also the largest project of this kind in Shenzhen in history.

The project is located in the expansion area of Longhua No. 2 Line, 9.3km away from the city’s central area. Occupying a total floor area of 176,000 square meters and construction area of 816,000 square meters, the project is consisted of four pieces of land, which after completed, will be used as apartments, public renting houses and affordable houses.

The No.008 land project that was topped on October 23 has a total construction area of 216000 square meters and total 4002 apartments, which will be all used for public renting houses.

The project is expected to be completed in September of 2012. It is constructed according to the green construction standard and 30 percent of the construction area reach national three stars level and 90 percent reach one star level.
